Sydney Post WW2 Gunner Contingent
& RAA Association Gunner Reunion
ANZAC Day is held 25th April each year in Sydney. This normally represents a great opportunity for past and present Gunners to socialize and reminisce with mates from their own and other Regiments. Associations register their intention to march with RSL NSW
Sydney Reunions are the responsibility of Unit and sub-Unit arrangements.
The Royal Australian Artillery Association (NSW) organises a reunion for its members, and welcomes serving members of NSW based gunner units and and for gunners who do not have an association in Sydney. Following the march the Association’s reunion will be held in the Basement of Barracks, 5-7 Barrack St.
Suggested Order of March for the Gunners:
NB: It is anticipated that most Associations will march this year but if you see a stray gunner, please adopt them for the day.
The Post WW2 Gunner units are led by the Banner of the Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery provided by the RAA Association NSW and normally marched by cadets from 233 Army Cadet Unit
