Anzac Day 2007 – Post World War 2 Gunner Associations




The Post WW2 gunner contingent, under the command of MAJGEN Tim Ford AO, Representative Colonel Commandant, accompanied by (L-R) COL Allan Piercey, Colonel Commandant Eastern Region, BRIG Phil Winter, Head of Regiment and COL Don Tait (Retd), President RAA Association (NSW).
The Regimental Banner party was provided by 203 Cadet Unit.

‘A’ Fd Bty, the longest continuous serving unit in the Australian Defence Force, with ranks swelled by members having recent service in current operations.

The rear elements of 23 Fd Regt were followed by 9 HAA and 9 LAA Regts Association


A large contingent of former members of 18 LAA Regt completed the artillery section for the 2007 Anzac Day March in Sydney.

A number of gunners chose to march with their National Service comrades and you can see gunner badges in the ranks below.






The National Servicemen marched in two cohorts representing the two period of National Service following the WW2.
