Vision |
The association's vision for this site is that it will be a practical resource and communication channel to gunners, predominantly in NSW, who seek to keep in touch with developments within The Regiment and be informed about Events in which they can participate.
2. |
Rationale |
The site will classify and publish information from a range of sources. The material will be used mainly by gunners and interested members of the public.
Given the nature of the Internet, the information could also be accessed by people across Australia and the rest of the world. The Association in its activities and publications sets and maintains the gunner traditions for the highest standards in relation to the accuracy and relevance of the material it publishes. It also has to make every reasonable effort to ensure the relevance and accuracy of links to other sites.

Objectives |

Our editorial policy reflects the following objectives. The site will: |

assist with the achievement of the Association's objects (ie): |

peak Gunner organisation in NSW |

(2) |
to foster esprit-de-corps, gunner tradition and comradeship amongst all gunner ranks; |

to communicate with the Gunner fraternity; |

(4) |
to represent and make representations on behalf of all Gunners. |

seek contributions from members. Authors are expected to comply with this editorial policy. |

feature material that is supportive of the role of gunners within the Australian community. |

The editors will: |

select information and discussion topics that are interesting and informative and which will inspire site users to think about the role that artillery plays in peace and war. |

provide an avenue for constructive feedback to be incorporated in the development and activities offered by the website. |

|
provide accurate and comprehensive information that is visually appealing and quick to down load. |

The articles and items published are done so in good faith and may not represent the views of the Association.
Authors and contributors are responsible for the accuracy of published material.

Linking: |
The webmanager will negotiate reciprocal links with other relevant sites that are consistent with the association's charter and aims for the convenience of members and users.
The link is to be opened in a new window and the site is not to act as a portal to other sites.
Sites that wish to link to our site are encouraged to link to the homepage. The thumbnail provided may be copied to their site for this purpose. External sites are requested not to portal our website or imply that it is part of their site. |
