Currently there are four branches of the association. One is a regional grouping, the others are unit based groupings.

The Newcastle Branch brings together the gunners of the Hunter region and has close ties with 113 Fd Bty, 7 Fd Regt. The branch maintains its own website. |

Coast Artillery Association Branch Coast artillery was the first artillery deployed in NSW when marines brought ashore ship's cannon to defend the first settlement from attach by sea. Coastal forts were established in each state and territory and today many have been preserved and become museums of local history as technology has made them redundant since the mid-1960s. |
